Mengitis!

So, about a year ago I started talking with this boy on the MyIthaca website. He didn't end up going here but we still keep in touch here and there. A few weeks back I received a text message from him that he was going to be here at Ithaca for football and we decided to meet up for the first time. As sketch as that sounds, I brought two girlfriends with me just as a safety precaution. While we were waiting for him outside of the locker room, they asked me if I was going to run and jump him his arms are start kissing him. I just looked at them and said no? I don't want meningitis. They laughed at me. The whole situation was funny at the time but I really am a germ-a-phobe. The point of this blog is to make people more aware that disease and sickness spread super easily! It's important to know symptoms of the common cold vs. the flu. Be aware of your surroundings and make good decisions! Something as simple as taking a bite of someone's food or a sip of their drink can cause meningitis.
Some common symptoms of meningitis are:
Increasing temperature
Back pain
Neck pain when reaching your chin to your chest.
Head/muscle aches
Sore Throat.
